IQRF WMNs at 11th International Conference on Wireless and Mobile Communications

Vladimír Šulc presented IQRF Wireless Mesh Networks at the 11th International Conference on Wireless and Mobile Communications. Why we need WMNs, WMN as a challenge, IQMESH protocol, IQRF ecosystem, IQRF Data Controlled transceivers, and Fast Response Commands - these were the main topics.

IQRF® is not only a technical solution for wireless connectivity, but a constantly growing ecosystem. The method of routing in wireless mesh networks IQMESH® elegantly resolves the complex algorithmic problem of routing in slow wireless mesh networks. This dramatically increases robustness and minimizes HW resources.

The concept of data-driven transceiver makes accessible devices’ peripherals and services over the wireless network without the need for the development of user application. There is no need to program user applications. The devices are made accessible in the network via sending/receiving messages. This approach further significantly accelerates the whole development process of any new wireless device.

The fast data collection concept FRC® - Fast Response Commands allows linear data aggregation in wireless mesh networks. Practical impact is that it dramatically reduces the time required for data collection. There is extremely fast confirmation of broadcasted control messages.

The Eleventh International Conference on Wireless and Mobile Communications (ICWMC 2015) followed on the previous events on advanced wireless technologies, wireless networking, and wireless applications. ICWMC 2015 addressed wireless related topics concerning integration of latest technological advances to realize mobile and ubiquitous service environments for advanced applications and services in wireless networks. Mobility and wireless, special services and lessons learnt from particular deployment complement the traditional wireless topics.
